OLD TOWN – STOCKHOLM: The apartment is located on Storkyrkobrinken, right next to Stockholm Castle, a perfect location in the middle of the Old Town with proximity to sights, restaurants, and shopping. The nearest metro station “Gamla Stan” is located some 100 meters from the apartment. Gamla Stan is one of the largest and best-preserved medieval city centers in Europe and one of Stockholm’s main attractions; this was where the city was founded in 1252. The whole Gamla Stan and the nearby island Riddarholmen is like a living pedestrian-friendly museum full of sights, restaurants, cafes, bars, and places to shop. Even today, cellar vaults and frescoes from the Middle Ages can be found behind the visible facades, and on snowy winter days, the district feels like something taken from a storybook …
